Members of a patient group have been raising awareness of prostate cancer among men.
Beechfield Medical Centre’s Patient Participation Group is carrying out a Prostate Cancer Awareness campaign in the Spalding area.
Prostate Cancer mainly affects men over 50 and one in eight men will get it in their lifetime.
Chairman Clive Green, pictured, and other members of the group set out a stall at Applegreen Service Station on Wednesday when about 250 leaflets were handed out.
About £128 was raised by selling Man of Men pin badges. The group has thanked Applegreen for its support and will be running future events.
