The Health and Wellbeing event held by Beechfield Medical Centre’s Patient Participation Group (PPG) on Saturday 18th June in the town centre was a huge success! The team saw almost 100 members of the public, and shared their event with local health and wellbeing services all of whom shared valuable information about local services to the visitors on the day.

Walk-in vaccination sessions available during half-term week for 5-11 and 12-15 year-olds
Vaccinations teams in the county are prepping for what they hope will be a busy week of vaccinating 5-11 year-olds and 12-15 year-olds during half-term next week.
In addition to the now regular pop-up vaccinations sessions around the county, a number of which will continue to offer vaccinations to 5-11 and 12-15 year-olds without the need for an appointment, the vaccination team at PRSA Mass Vaccination Centre, Boston, will also be running a series of walk-in sessions on-site for 5-11 and 12-15 year-olds.

Access to NHS dental services is a national concern. Certainly, over the past year, concerns around NHS dental services throughout Lincolnshire have been repeatedly raised through Healthwatch Lincolnshire.
Lack of availability of NHS practices taking new patients and struggles accessing NHS dental treatment during the pandemic are key concerns.
End of an era as Mass Vaccination Centre shuts its doors
The Mass Vaccination Centre at the Lincolnshire Showground is preparing to give its last covid vaccinations and shut its doors after more than a year of constant operation.
Since it opened in early 2021, the site at the Lincolnshire Showground – one of two Mass Vaccination Centres in Lincolnshire – has played a major part in the county’s covid vaccination programme.
“What the team at the Showground have achieved is truly phenomenal and I want to thank all of them who have been involved over the last year or so for making such a difference to the lives of so many people,” comments Rebecca Neno, Director of Covid and Influenza Vaccination Programmes, NHS Lincolnshire CCG.
